Fernsehjournalistin Karen wird von einem Serienkiller gejagt. Bei einem Zusammentreffen wird der Psychopath zwar getötet, doch Karen kann das Erlebte nicht vergessen. Jede Nacht wird sie von Albträumen geplagt. Hilfe erhofft sie sich von Dr. Wagner, der sie in ein abgelegenes Sanatorium schickt. Doch dort beginnt erst der wahre Albtraum: Karen hört nachts unheimliche Geräusche aus den Wäldern und ehe sie sich versieht, entpuppt sich das gesamte Sanatorium als Werwolf-Kolonie. Jetzt helfen nur noch Silberkugeln...
