L'histoire a lieu après les événements de Star Wars: Episode IX. On y retrouve Rose, Rey, Finn, Poe et Chewbacca qui vont s'offrir une pause ensoleillée bien méritée après avoir vaincu Palpatine. Tout au long de ce spécial, ils visiteront d'autres lieux emblématiques de Star Wars tout en interagissant avec divers personnages de la franchise, notamment C-3PO, Lando, Boba Fett, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jabba le Hutt, Anakin Skywalker, Dark Vador, Kylo Ren, Finn, Han Solo, Leia et Palpatine.
