Le vol 571 d'une compagnie Uruguayenne reliant Montevideo à Santiago au Chili, s'écrase sur la Cordillère des Andes, avec à son bord une équipe de Rugby, quelques uns de leurs proches, et le staff. Seule une vingtaine de passagers survivent au crash, mais loin de la zone de recherche, dans une nature hostile et sans nourriture, comment vont-ils survivre… Et à quel prix ?
