Un an après avoir sauvé la ville d’Angel Falls d’un tueur en série la veille de Noël, Winnie Carruther ne se remet pas de cette soirée traumatisante et fait le souhait de ne jamais être venue au monde. Son vœu exaucé, elle se retrouve dans un univers parallèle cauchemardesque où elle n’a jamais existé et dans lequel le tueur est de retour. Afin de retrouver sa propre réalité, Winnie doit à nouveau l’affronter !
