And pretty much right away, Blade Trinity mades history by being the first movie in the Blade franchise to feature the Marvel page flipping animation at the start acknowledging Blade’s Marvel Comics roots.

Then the movie starts off with The House of Talos arriving at the Syrian Desert by Helicopter to visit the tomb of Dracula…which is ironic considering that Blade made his first appearance in Marvel’s “Tomb of Dracula #10” in 1973…and in that issue, Blade would, of course, go head to head with Dracula himself.
