森と畑に囲まれた田舎の一軒家で母親の帰りを待つ9歳の双子の兄弟。ところが、帰ってきた母親は顔の整形手術を受けており、頭部が包帯でぐるぐる巻きになっていた。さらに性格まで別人のように冷たくなってしまい、兄弟は本当に自分たちの母親なのか疑いを抱くように。そして正体を暴くべく彼女を試しはじめるが、その行為は次第にエスカレートしていく。
