ホラー映画女優だった母を交通事故で亡くしたマックス。３年後、友人たちと母が出演していた映画を観に行くと、映画館で火災が発生。逃げ惑ううちに、いつしか映画の中に入り込んでしまう。そこで役を演じる母に会えて喜ぶマックス。だが殺人鬼も出現し、次々とシナリオ通りに登場人物が殺されてゆく。
