불의의 사고로 휠체어에 의존하게 된 전직 댄서 에바는 친구 소피로부터 골동품 어드벤트 캘린더를 선물받는다. 하루에 하나씩 꺼내 본 초콜릿과 캔디는 에바에게 예기치 않은 행운을 선사하고, 그녀는 점점 캘린더가 선사하는 매일의 메시지에 집착하기 시작한다. 급기야 에바를 다시 걷게 해 주겠다는 캘린더의 약속은 그녀와 그녀의 주변을 공격하며 걷잡을 수 없는 위험으로 번져 간다.
