Profitant du week-end du 1er avril, Muffy St John a invité quelques camarades de collège sur son île privée. Lorsque le bac approche de l'île, Arch et Skip font à leurs compagnons un terrifiant poisson d'avril : Skip se fait poignarder et passe par-dessus bord...
