五千年前，埃及公主安玛奈特本来有望成为古埃及首位女法老王，但事与愿违，新的继承人出世，王位受到威胁。不甘心的她求助黑暗力量，结果事败被捉，被活生生制成木乃伊，封印在远离家乡之地。并被埋葬于沙漠深处的坟墓中。现代，一支由尼克为首的海豹突击队在中东的沙漠中寻获了其公主的古老棺木，但却因此唤醒了可怕的远古诅咒；复活于现代的安玛奈特带来了一个恶毒的怨念，并打算以深埋了上千年的邪恶力量降临于现代的世界，这使得在空难中意外幸存的尼克必须找出防止世界遭到毁灭的方法。
