Longlegs (2024): "The Silence of the Vibes"

The word on the street was that Longlegs (2024) would be the "scariest movie of the year," but does it live up to the hype? We decided to check out Neon's new release for ourselves here at Spooky Tuesday, and we're ready to discuss whether those Silence of the Lambs comparisons are truly holding up. Is Maika Monroe's Lee Harker giving Clarice? Does Nic Cage's titular serial killer lean more Hannibal Lecter or Buffalo Bill? Director Osgood Perkins is definitely packing in the CLEAR references, but they might lean more musical than cinematic.
